Margret Olbrich

Studio Owner

Meet Margret, the passionate studio owner and Pilates instructor behind Pilates360. Margret holds a Diploma of Pilates through Polestar Pilates Education and is a certified Clinical Pilates practitioner, with specialist training in Mat, Reformer, Studio Pilates, and Pilates in the Women’s Health environment. She is registered with Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) and brings a strong clinical and holistic approach to every class she teaches.

Margret’s journey into movement began through personal experience. After struggling with back pain from years working in hospitality, she turned to personal training at the age of 26. Strength training, guided by a professional powerlifter, not only resolved her back pain but reshaped her understanding of movement, strength, and body awareness. Her early focus was building muscle, improving strength, and reducing body fat, laying the foundation for her long-term passion for intelligent, sustainable exercise.

In 2019, Margret discovered Pilates at Pilates360 and immediately connected with its mindful, full-body approach. By the end of that year, she commenced her teacher training with Polestar Pilates Education, where she completed her Mat and Reformer certifications before progressing to her Diploma of Pilates and Clinical Pilates qualifications.

Margret’s teaching philosophy centres on the belief that a strong body and a strong mind go hand in hand. Her classes blend traditional Pilates principles with contemporary, evidence-informed programming to create sessions that are both challenging and empowering. Clients are encouraged to move with intention, develop body awareness, and leave class feeling physically capable and mentally prepared to take on life’s demands.

Known for her caring, grounded, and positive approach, Margret believes attitude is everything, especially when things do not go to plan. She lives by the principles “You are the master of your own destiny” and “Fall down, stand up, straighten your crown and carry on,” values that are deeply reflected in both her teaching and leadership.
